Our Story

I started Cornerstone with the ambition of creating the best possible shaving experience. Having suffered for years with sensitive skin, I was determined that shaving should no longer be an uncomfortable daily chore, but instead something to look forward to and enjoy – a familiar, personal ritual that gets your morning off to a great start.

Two years on from launch, and I’m proud to say that Cornerstone is now a thriving British success story. Combining our energy and passion with the £1m we raised through crowdfunding, we have gone from strength to strength and now have tens of thousands of men trusting our products every morning as well as a long list of industry awards and accolades to our name.

We created Cornerstone as a return to the essential: thoughtful design, quality ingredients and above all else, simplicity. For far too long, getting a smooth, comfortable shave has been too complicated – we’re here to change that.

To make something remarkable, you have to work with the best people. We scoured the world to find the most talented designers, the most discerning chemists and the most experienced craftsmen. Everything we do is a team effort.

3. Be fair

We’re a small team and we care about what we do. That means no cutting corners, no dodging responsibility if things go wrong, and always being on the side of the customer, no matter what. Above all else, we’re here to help.
